G Way in 'Big Godo' charity concert


Cooper and G-Way is the biggest gospel music group producing urban gospel music. On Easter Sunday, they will hold the Big Godo charity concert will take place this weekend at the Kampala Serena hotel. Big Godo is the title of their hit song meaning our God is Big released last year and went ahead to be a favourite for urban gospel music lovers and topping charts on Christian radio stations. They are also known for songs like Emigugu Gyo, Makondere, Mercy We Cried and Sibiwulilanga among others. The group is determined to push their stature higher and leave a mark not only on the Ugandan music industry but the international scene as well. For this show, they are also calling on the services of Fille, Daisy Ejang, Naava Grey, Exodus, Levixone and international artiste Anthony Faulkner. Ejang, Levixone and Exodus are part of the crème de la crème of Uganda’s gospel music scene.  Faulkner already has songs with G Way and Cooper. Gospel music lovers should look forward to watching live performance of some of the American singer/song writer’s songs off his latest album Guardian Angel. He is also know for songs like Stop Searching,  and I Trust You among others. Another performance to look out for is that of Faith featuring G Way. Tickets cost Shs 50,000 and Shs 100,000 for VIP.
